don't get it I watch fishing shows to see the fish and the fight why would you just show the hook set then in the net never seen a fishing show that doesn't show the fight????
@Wish4Fish20 күн бұрын
Sweet, then don’t watch 👍🏼 Have fun watching a person rod the rod and reel in line. I show the fight when the fight is relevant. With trout, not so much.

@@Wish4Fish wow simple fucking question and you reply like that I wont watch another 1
@Wish4Fish18 күн бұрын
You call that a simple question? Zero need for your passive aggressive attitude. You could have “simply” said “I wish you showed more of the fight” to get a civilized response.

@@Wish4Fish I was blunt I'll admit that but I don't get what in it would piss you off I asked I said I've never seen a fishing show that doesn't show the fight what attitude I asked a question I've seen tons of fishing shows I don't want a pissing match but at same time I don't think I wrote anything to deserve the reply. I meant no offense when I wrote it and It caught me by surprise your reply wasn't expecting it.

Who said I was pissed off? All I said was don’t watch. I even proceeded to answer your question. You’re the one throwing F-bombs, not me. Next time you want a question answered seriously you should think about how you’re asking it.

ive had great luck with cray fish imitations on small creeks. i throw a small split shot on the leader to just drop it right near the bottom and do one fast strip then let the fly drop down for 5 or so seconds. They hit it on the drop every time

Use a 5 gallon paint strainer to collect samples. They fit well over your average trout landing net. And you can get a good sample on larger waters in 20-30 seconds. Just by holding the net in the water!

Thank You, nice Video 😊.In the Pacific Northwest, Once while chasing Trophy Summer Steelhead and Spring Chinook (as I very often do), I heard someone call people born in Argentina, "Argentines", so I went to a number of College Campuses, and asked Natural Born people from Argentina, "what they should properly be called", and the answer from 23 people who were born in Argentina, was invariably the same (Argentinian )!!

Buddy on the back was eager to get it in the fish's path. But once it's in their path slow it down, no more aggressive strips. Let it sink and just a tiny slow bump as they get close. A motto I repeat to myself when they are tough like this: "Make it seem like they found it"

@Wish4Fish2 ай бұрын
It’s a 7/9. Although you can easily use a 5/7. Best reel on the market in my opinion. Especially for what I do with it. Although bit of an overkill if you’re just fishing Brookies. Unless you’re fishing salt or something that rips line you don’t need it. TR is awesome! Also the best Click n Pawl out there. Easily can use that for all trout of all sizes.

Hate to tell you this, but I grew up there in Idaho, and your stuff you are taping, at least at the end of this, is not Harriman State Park. Its below the Ashton Dam, and Chester Dam. And yeah, the fishing is lousy, thats why no one is fishing it. Idaho Fish and Game should be planting it with Browns and doing what Montana has done, put a species that can survive fishing pressure, and will actually spawn.

I give that information when the details are important. I also don’t give that information if we don’t want the knowledge known. For this case the fly choice is more or less irrelevant. As long as you’re using a decent streamer as well as the right color for the occasion then you’re good to go.

Hey Ken, I know this topic has been bouncing around like a ping ball on the internet without no firm answer. Which costa glass LENS would you recommend for stream and river fly fishing (northeast- PA,NY) Currently I’m sporting Costa Diego with Copper silver lens and it’s just ok.. but looking for second pair that could be more effective with variable suns.
@Wish4Fish4 ай бұрын
Unfortunately there is not a one stop shop. I actually carry two pair on me at all times. Copper is supposedly the best all around. Although, I use green mirror. That’s mostly for inshore sight casting, which I do most often. That is also my style of fishing when on the rivers as well. For low light, morning and evening I use the silver mirror sunrise! Best lens in the market for low light.
