w4sted, you DO know that you can use the left side of the inventory control panel as well? just click that button in the upper left and you have two panes of the inventory and you can directly shift it around without moving it into your personal inventory. really hurts watching you fiddle around in the inventories, especially without using the search and filter functions :P

HAHA you got some of the ghost pepper and jumping man resource deposit. If you don't know what I'm talking about at 3:55 on the left there is a man jumping towards the base and in the right is a pepper shaped deposit with a ghost like face on it. And I agree, the battle toad does not break. It has rapid unscheduled disassembly.

Unless theyve changed it, your waypoints will be incorrect unless made from first person view as the camera is used as the point of detection anchor, ergo, if your camera is zoomed out 15m from space steves head youre actually 15m closer than you think.

Hm. I think, your mod package needs also the angular thrust mod. It's the thing, that makes engines apply also the rotation to ships when you use them. It makes building ships more challenging, as well as mining operations with flying drills (because your center of mass moves towards the ore containers, flipping you over). It's more for advanced players, because mod doesn't provide the gyroscopic compensation (and also bugs a bit inertia dampening calculations, making it a bit lower than it should be). Using it with aerodynamic mod and x1 inventory (if you don't know, inventory mods also decrease components mass, as well as volume) makes use of cargo-transporting ground vehicles. That's because with all those settings flying drills tend to flip over (especially after mining and going at high speeds against the atmosphere) and they are not capable of holding big inventories in mid-flight. What about ground vehicles - they don't need to worry about holding themselves in the air, and their cargo hold only adds up the craft's stability.

you should put landing gear on the top of the miner (and a roof platform thingy on the base) so that you can drive her to the base, park her on the roof, then disconnect the frog and drive that to the connector. you could also put artificial mass on the battle toad and have that in the toolbar of the remote so that you can quickly and easily lower and raise the suspension for different weights

this was one of the first issues I ever managed to solve with my rovers I put four base pistons and four on them pointing into the tires so the four bases set it on its side then secondaries set it right side up

note, if i recall correctly, the connectors take the lowest strength of the two, so you'd have to set them both to high for it to work

ok so large vehicles now need a road side emergency kit stowed in a container that is not piped in so it cant accidentally get moved to base . couple pistons and steel plate and a atmo-thruster's parts . LOL . great stream guys

I know that you might want to use a patreon name (suggested) for the planet but I thought of a few little names that might grow on you. Simply enough if the system is Clip-Clip then the planets could be named Bullet, Shell, or Round. Rounds are in Clips but also it reflects the spherical nature of planets (cube worlds aren't for me.) Under the premise that a 'Clip' holds ammunition, if you choose Shell for example, the moon could be named Slug or Bucky (Buckshot). Along this same vein, planets if the Clip-Clip system could be Staple, Tape, Buckle or my personal favorite Button.

I really enjoy these type of videos that you and CaptainShack have put together, especially and specifically survival. I tend to play along in survival while watching these and other vids and tutorials. I like them as much and perhaps a bit more so than the RP series you, Shack, and Morph had done, though I'm anxious to see them continue when you all have the time to continue it. I have my own favorite structure styles (bases specifically - admittedly reminiscent of ziggurats) styles and vehicles (thanks to your earlier Survival tutorials and the 'Don't Panic,' guides). My thanks for including a wheeled vehicle as those still give a bit of a challenge though not nearly as much as previously. I was horribly stumbling along prior to discovering the three of your channels. They, the tutorials and other videos, have helped quite a lot and I just wanted to pass along my thanks and support. Stay awesome! :D

The power problem at 44:20 is caused by the battery having power output AND input at the same time, so basically it's just wasting energy looping it through other batteries a solutions could be to switch the battery to discharge manually at night (or at least when the solar panels don't provide power) and switch it to charge when the solar panels provide power.. known issue I guess.... hope Keen fixes this soon, you might want to use a mod/fix for having correct power management in the meantime Ny the way I love the stream guys, it's fun to watch!

I'm a little late to the party, but I think your problem with the piston heads might be that it only takes one plate to place the frame of both the piston and the piston head. If you could get anything out of the head then you would gain a plate every time you placed and ground down a piston. At least, I think it only takes one plate to frame out both bits of the piston. It's been a while.

If u hit the box button on your personal inventory side. While sitting in ur toad u can access your ships inventory. So u don't need to keep hoping out of your vehicle and going to the cargo container.
