@@e_da_g2161 I mean, both of those centaur's parents were humans... But real talk, there would probably be a lot of cheating and ape that gets passed off as "muggle borns." Not to mention people getting their memory wiped or just not knowing their partner's secret. Consider how blase they are with things like love potions, even with each other, and then consider many see muggles as less than human. I recall one of the first things death eaters did at the quidditch world cup was hold a muggle woman upside down so they could see her underwear, after which Draco taunts Hermione by asking if she wants the same thing. 🤔 It also works thematically as part of the reason some of them hate muggle-borns so much. They might well be aware of what the muggle-borns represent.

@@e_da_g2161 OP means there are likely no families in the HP world left that don’t have magic blood in them. Because Muggles and Witches/Wizards have intermingled for so many centuries that their bloods have likely all become partly magical. Hence how Muggleborns can even exist at all.

But what I meant is that perhaps Hermione's dad isn't her biological father, and her mother may or may not even be aware of that fact. In any case, it logically follows that at least *some* people who are labeled muggleborn are in fact half-blood and were the product of a love potioning or something. If the sexes of Tom's parents were reversed there's a good chance he could have been raised in a muggle household and never have learned of his ancestry at all. Could have turned out just like Hermione, oddly enough. I gotta troll people now... "Imagine if Voldemort were born in the 80s, and it was his wizard father who love potioned his muggle mother, but his father was talked out of raising him, so the dad memory charmed his mother. Now imagine Tom was actually named Hermione and was a girl raised by a loving family of dentists."
