@@andrewchidester5704 Same, my grandma passed away recently too (at the beginning of 2023) and her death, while it still hurt, I feel impacted me less than Techno's, I think it's because she was older and not doing too well health wise so it was sorta more expected to happen, while Techno's death came more out of nowhere all of a sudden :(

@@Finity_ oh nice. i feel like our generation that grew up with the start of social media really created a strong connection to the creators we watch/ed, theyve all been a massive part of our childhood and teenage years, especially when its been tough and we had no one else. Technos death was so monumental because he was such a good guy and the people who watched him felt such a strong connection since he was very in contact with his fans. im grateful to have grown up with youtubers like techno, being exposed to new things really helped to have an open mind for other new things.

The bitter irony is that Technoblade obviously didn’t want anyone to feel sad about his passing and kept things on a positive note until the very end, but that just makes me (and I assume a lot of others) feel sadder. Because that just shows how amazing of a person he was. Incredibly kind and strong, despite the unfair circumstances. Makes you realize what kind loss it is. I’ve never been a big Techno fan. I watched a few vids here and there and I did enjoy them but I was never really a follower. And yet the news of his passing still hit me hard, like I actually lost someone I know. Wishing the best for his family and friends.

The editing was amazing. This was more of a eulogy to Phil and Alex's friendship, aside from the minecraft aside from the twitch, the past so many years, this was two friends. The opening that phil said was beautiful and I think it sums it up. Alex was a person. Alex is gone. But Technoblade, the idea of never giving up, as Alex said even if the odds are a million to one, trying your best, that's a bedtime story I'd wake up to. Rest Well Alex. Technoblade Never Dies.
