Finally arrived today, it has everything integrated somehow :) coffee is great on par with original minipresso. The 8gr / 12gr trick was cool

@@mikepanton tbh I don't know. I haven't used it. If there is a trend of releasing new versions of existing products. I would like to get the newer one. I guess people were complaining about material quality. Also, capacity of minipresso is so small. I don't see any reason to purchase it.

@@EmreHepsag gotcha. i've never used one either, but also don't see any clear way to upgrade it. in a sense, they have upgraded it already though by making a stand and gauge for it.

Seems to be they use new pump from picopresso in the new GR machines. So picopresso comes to be superb device for the long period of time.

How is this different from the pico?

very good question! :) Pico has 52mm basket with 18g nominal capacity (~double shot, interchangeable to 12g or precision IMS), 80ml water tank capacity (for turbo shot or near alonge and better thermal stability), Pico seems better for speciality coffee and better build quality.

As far as I see this tiny Wacaco won't give you a new experience. I am a former user of Nanopresso and I was satisfied with the little coffee maker. Now I am the owner of Picopresso and I am excited with this irreproachable coffee machine. I love Wacaco, but honestly I don't see anything interesting in this one. Perhaps low price would be more appropriate for someone. 😊

Yes, it is. But you can remove the valve if necessary.

Nanopresso is more flexible with accessories. They have the barista kit that contains a bigger water tank and bigger baskets. Also an adapter to use ns capsules. This minipresso uses only ground coffee, which means you have to buy another version if you decided to use capsules.
