Wachau Cultural Landscape - UNESCO World Heritage Site

The UNESCO World Heritage site of the Wachau Cultural Landscape is a long river valley on the Danube River, about an hour west of Vienna, running between the immense Melk Abbey and the town of Krems. Along the way, beside Krems and the abbey, you can see beautiful vineyards, ruined castles and incredible scenery. Just a shame that we couldn't film more inside Melk Abbey - the library was gorgeous!

What a beautiful valley for a river cruise! My eye caught the words on the front of that building 'Bum gold Reichsadler'. Left me a bit puzzled
