I'd been an Ensiferum fan for years before getting tickets for their concert when they visited my town. When it was time I didn't want to go. I was ashamed of how I had let myself go due to stuff life was throwing at me, and kind of didn't even want to be out in public anymore. My husband convinced me to go and I thought I would be hiding in a back corner. Naturally already the support band, Wind Rose, made us get in front of the stage and the entire Ensiferum set I was in front row screaming along to every song with a smile from ear to ear. I'm not even exaggarating to say that night was life changing in how I got to be more positive and get my life back together. Two years later at Sabaton Open Air we were once again in front screaming along with every song, now in a much better place in life. The power of music, the power of this song, and the metal community.
