this series is such a fresh take on unfiction as a whole, each episode could stand alone as an anthology of extremely funny - and yet sometimes legitimately creepy - videos, but the way they tie together into something distinct really makes it shine. each idea, from the "classic creepypasta" to the "allergic to your bullshit protagonist" is so well executed and distinct! the elements of humor actually elevate the elements of horror (the scene where Something starts to break the blocks of the cell in the other world genuinely raised some hairs), and vice versa (collin just makes me laugh every damn time). sorry for rambling! thanks for putting something so awesome into the world! can't wait to see what happens next !! ❤

But Collin is playing a much later version of MC, so a lot of time has presumably passed and people are no longer actually scared of random entities on their MC server, what with even Herobrine’s legend falling from relevance after it’s been milked dry. So basically everyone got a metaphorical vaccine against the *actual* malicious demons haunting their games by no longer taking them as seriously, and just being annoyed or amused by them, rather than terrified and confused.

this has whole channel is something that I always wanted. A horror story but where the main character knows the tropes or has a realistic, give no shit reaction, where they don't just go search the metaphorical basement. But where the horror is still somewhat unsettling and if it weren't for the character just being done with it all and or apathic. Imagine some real evil demon haunting a Minecraft world, waiting for new prey, but then suddenly like 4 guys just suddenly spawn in and start goofing off and laughing at it, and one of the dudes jokingly asks if the demon dude wants to join in and just goof off together with em, building those little dick rockets out of oak planks and dirt, and the entity just gets kinda worn down by the collective pressure of all the human players, and decides to say “why not” and goes building and playing MC with the homies. Would be pretty funny and kinda sweet imo. I should try writing a book about that in one of the SMPs I play on, actually.

probably because of the rain. which sounds insane, but hear me out We know for a fact at this point that rain follows wherever Collin is. In the little animation at the start of the second episode, he's shown wearing what looks like a yellow raincoat. And it's worth noting that at this point, rain is EXCLUSIVELY used in Collin's presence- There isn't any random ambient rain, it only happens when he shows up. Don't quite know what all of that means as one yet, but it's clearly abnormal. And if the raincoat thing means something (Collin having protection from the rain while nothing else does) then it's likely just being in the world either casts flaws on, or erodes, anything anomalous trying to sneak in. Like the doppelganger, who always seems to start accurate and then rapidly falls apart.

So heres what i was able to get from this first protag is an idiot unlike colin. He attacked a unknown without full diamond armor with enchants specifically smite thats needed for creatures such as these. Secondly he didnt seal of the cave from above lava cast the entire thing twice then move atleast 1000 blocks away to recuperate and prepare in this version e gaps are obtainable farm pig man to steal their gold if hungry appears there toss all the rotten flesh in a random direction if he is motivated out of hunger then he will go after that then runaway they dont seem particularly fast or strong they first weakened protag to half a heart before attacking and instead of a upfront attack it was a trap that shows that protag was equipped enough to injure it or escape. Now that protags equipped build a sky base with only one entrance and exit rig the exit to fire flaming arrows or line it with blazes if hungry tries something like building a tnt cannon to vertically launch explosives at you tnt dupe on him if they teleport inside the base crit them out its 1.8 so use a auto clicker if they show up with instant harming potions rush them get up close so they cant properly throw them at you. If they show up geared which is unlikely since it had a chance to gear before attacking protag but didn't, Get good you have a smite sword which should be effective since hungry makes zombie noises and may be a spirit or specter of some kind, or if your able to open the game to lan get on gamemode /kill @hungry since hungry has shown no ability to interfere with your computer if they could they would tp you and eat you, and if you cant kill them with that give yourself strength 250 and resistance 10.

Which highlights this creature values food to the point where it will risk being discovered or cant resist it when its in front of it.

As for the other entities, bit unsure though i won't be surprised if they're similar to Souler in that regard Maybe it has something to do with the versions they first appeared? Since hungry is way older than Souler and the others, first appearing in a beta prerelease rather than the full release
