If you play the Dastardly Difficulty mode the bots become stronger. You can enable entering the cheat code that you can find in some websites. Nice video! Keep it up!

I'm seriously impressed here. You did very very well, particularly on Alone in the Park, Redwood Springs and Terminal Termoil. As you said Red Max isn't easy to handle (which makes me wonder why he was a boss since he's so slow and awkward) but you still did brilliantly.

Me personally, I'd say it's to do with how the Crimson Haybailer flies all the time; on quite a few tracks (especially with water and low fences), it's got ridiculously good potential for taking shortcuts, on top of having some pretty strong abilities.

fun fact: i recently discovered this myself, if you enable Advanced controls, it's normally meant to make the suspension rediculously tight, but because the crimson haybailer has no suspension and the Ai mainly accounts for the fact that you are using the kart controls, the entire game just falls on it's back and dies. the only issue being that it removes the tight turning for all the characters, so it makes it significantly harder to turn tight corners, but i guess that's a fair trade off for watching the Ai hit puberty early.

Red Max is the only character whose vehicle has no stats for grip; this is unique since all the other racers have vehicles that do have grip stats, but The Crimson Haybailer is the only exception.

I remember I had difficulty you trying to master the RedMax on certain race track

Especially the airport and rooftop tracks. When you make a turn everyone in the race catches up and overtakes.

I love the Red Max, but it shouldn't be a super boss. I think the Arkansas Chugga Bug deserved that position, even though it has low speed, it is very good in corners and its skills are very good.

I personally think the Bullet-Proof Bomb would have made a good boss for a City track it had some of the best weapons in the game.

@@CrashFan93 i've thought that for the longest time, but then again considering the rushed development of the dreamcast version, i don't think they would turn a previous normal racer into a boss. i still kinda wish it happened though, what would a city boss race look like? maybe it takes you through an entire mall?

I’m assuming he’s a boss for the simple fact that haybailer is mechanically different from other vehicles. That’s most likely the same reason why pat pending is a boss as well

Do you know if you can set up the difficulty for the cups in this game ? Cup number 1 seems easier than the fourth one

I think when you get to the last cups it just increases in difficulty especially if you have every ability for each Wacky Racer. You can't set the difficulty for Cups.
