I use Half grip, comp, EQ, and 3x. I soft aim anything within about 50 meters, I run type A settings on Xbox and I feel that I dominate most fights using the UMP. If a Beryl or AK miss 1 shot I beat them ALMOST every time. Not everyone can be good as PC players on Xbox so many people miss their initial first shot or shots leading after, giving anyone running a UMP a massive advantage. Thanks for proving that it's good! Been saying it all along! Love the content!

Another one advantage of carrying UMP is that it uses .45 ACP, the lightest ammo in the game. By the way the last guy Wacky killed was also very good player. I liked how he jiggled left right duck crouch behind the wall right before he got umped. GG!

My UMP is level 55, my highest gun level. I forego Mini's, Beryl's, SLRs etc for UMP45. Its extremely smooth to shoot, fast firing and accurate and it wallops. My best kill with it is 327 meter headshot. I love the ump45 and the last season's skin for it!

Wacky what is your thoughts on the laser sight? I personally like using it with the ump because even without a grip it has good handling at mid range. I tend to swap to the thumb grip when I’m dealing with strict mid-far range. But I really think in CQC situations I find the laser sight and soft aim to be the best

Great vedio whacky really appreciate your work but definately their are many constraints regarding this weapon. 1.Only viable in small maps where most of the gun fights are in close range. 2.Opponent knowledge and competitivness matters also so its less effective in ranked matches where players have much more batter movement, leaning and peaking and they never expose them selves like in this match. 3.Addition of throwable with good players also make your chances very less to flank them to get them in close quarter combats.. They just don't let you get that close. But its fun to use this weapon i only agree to use it IN normal matches but i really appropriate the vedio where you prove your point in a ranked match... OK, so firstly : the UMP is my go-to SMG because it feels like a more easy to use and more stable AR (I'll pick a Vector over it in Sanhok though). Secondly : don't you think it's a bit stupid that shooting the arms should kill faster than shooting the body, even with a vest on? Kinda defeats the purpose of wearing a body armor if there's a warkaround, doesn't it?

@Recruit Lucier the Skorpion should, IMHO, be buffed so as to be really viable in a combo like DMR / SR. I think that was the intent but it's too weak to be really useful. Unless you get the drop on your enemy, you'll get shredded by almost all ARs when using a Skorpion. It should be closer to an UZI than a pistol. That being said I love this gun, it's really fun to use and it looks beastly

Not really? You're only looking at level 3 armour stats. You're bound to hit people in the armour unless you're firing at someone not moving, or shooting up at their legs. Also bullets that hit the limbs+chest will pass through to the chest. You can try to implement your 'workaround' but you'll find unless you're in specific situations, the marginal gains will be outweighed by the fact that you're aiming at non-centre of mass and you'll be missing more. The stats of the smgs make them spray friendly really since that's what they're designed to do. You spray a ton of bullets and even missing centre of mass causes about the same amount of damage. You can basically aim lower than usual and hit the legs/torso area and still be good. Mind you someone who does aim at the head and gets ever 1 headshot will out damage anyone doing the leg spray. Main advantage with doing the leg spray is taking undamaged armour off your opponent.

you discuss the superiority of the UMP over the AKM vis-a-vis speed and accuracy but what about effect/damage? the AKM will cause far more damage than the UMP. it annoys me that regardless of the weapon used in first attack, the reaction time of the opponents is the same. if you get hit with a more dangerous or higher caliber weapon faster, your reaction time should be slower since you have to get over the shock of the hit. Just an opinion.
