kinda ironic using your big wacom tablet as a screen and the intuos as the drawing tablet
@BenSussmanpro2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for this fine video. I just acquired the same tablet so I’ll check some of your other videos. But 1 of the cons to point out is that the cord is only USB-A to the computer. Since I have the new macbook I had to buy an A-to-C adapter. I thought it’s petty not to include that in the box.

Quick Disclaimer: We osu! players don't need multi touch function on a tablet, that's why most of us buy the small Intuos S (And older models). There's only a small number of touchscreen players who will obviously need a screen on the tablet :)

What I meant was you can use the tablet for osu! and use the touch for whatever else.

I use the Large Intuos Pro on a 27 " BenQ QHD with all the Adobe color I can eat.-Magic. However I changed the texture sheet to the smooth as with sculpting, the Pro Pen 2 nibs wears way too fast.

Is there any difference between this one and the other Intuos pro models since it was released in 2019?

A-a-ron they are actually all built to be a paper edition, only difference is that it comes with the ink pen, paper holder, and paper.

I literally called customer support today because I wanted to be able to disable touch on my PTH 660 with An ExpressKey I just got today, you cannot do it, so dumb, I tried to get the CS dude to escalate this issue to the driver guys, but who knows. Wacom does watch your reviews, so hopefully they hear your comment about needing a software touch toggle on the intuos pros, which wouldn't be needed if palm detection was not garbage. It's the whole reason I bought the ExpressKey, I thought I saw it working in your video on it.. Good review as always dude.

Aaron, no shit, the customer service guy told me, get this, "The desired touch toggle from the ExpressKey Remote, works with OLDER MODEL TABLETS" I kid you not he told me basically to dig out my older tablet and use it. I made him repeat it so he saw the startling insanity of what he was suggesting. My old tablet has a feature my new $300 one does not....... C'mon Wacom, you cool with that?
@aaronrutten5 жыл бұрын
I think what he meant was that if you want to use an express key to toggle touch, you can do that with the Express Key Remote which works with any tablet. But I just tried to test that and the remote only disables touch for my Cintiq. Perhaps it would work on a system that has only the Intuos Pro attached. I don't know...
@JoshBrown185 жыл бұрын
@@aaronrutten I'm using the ExpressKey Remote, it will not disable touch on the PTH *60 line. When I said ExpressKey above, I meant the remote.

There is something that i can´t fix sense intuos pro from 2017 came out about the bluetooth connection, specially with macs there are a lot of interference from radio signal and there are a horrible lag on pen input, i need to disconnect the magic mouse, and magic trackpad in order to reduce the lag, have you ever have the same problem with this new intuos pro generation? i miss the old dongle from past models.

I'm currently drawing on a iPhone 5s (have been for 4years) and I want to adapt to a graphics tablet, would the intros pro small be good for that transition or should I try something larger?
@ajarofnutella5 жыл бұрын
as someone that's been using tablets for a while, I'd say start small. compared to the 5s, the small Intuos Pro has TONS more space to move your hand. I made the mistake of getting a large for my very first tablet and really all it did was make it harder to take places just know that you don't need a big tablet when there's a zoom function! any size works the exact same, and your art wouldn't be hindered by having a small tablet. I'd say if you want one that has all those buttons, then yes get it. but if it's too expensive (it's $250) and you don't mind not having buttons you could get an Intuos draw for like $70 if I remember correctly hope that helped!

Am I the only one who thinks that painting on small surface is more productive and causes little to no wrist pain?... Btw thanks for the review Aaron ;)
@karimroshdy64325 жыл бұрын
On the contrary small tablets will consume more wrist movements unlike bigger tablets that consume more forearm movements so the small is best towards photo editors
@vicemech82775 жыл бұрын
Yeah I see your point, the medium one might be the sweet point. Funny how every intuos I saw at work were worn in the center in a 3 cm square, mine included. :) looks like artists prefer moving the canvas in center and zoom out to make big strokes on screen with short motion on tablet.

It’s frustrating that the more you pay for a Wacom product the less they give you. My Mobile Studio Pro has only 3 spare nibs and besides Paint 3D, it has rubbish bloatware installed like candy Crush. asphalt and other rubbish on it. Not even sketchbook which is free and included on other lesser PCs as bloatware.
@aaronrutten5 жыл бұрын
That preinstalled stuff is packaged with Windows on all PCs. It's not just on the MSP.
@sloppynyuszi5 жыл бұрын
That’s true, but some PCs come bundled with different software. They bought some cheap Mac mini rip off from Acer in the office and it has sketchbook on it. So I’m guessing some PC manufacturers curate this stuff. When you spending so much having art related software would be a nice touch, but my biggest gripe is that they gave me only 3 nibs, my previous Cintiq had like 16 or something. Overall the product is nice for what it is, and the drawing experience is second to none, but I miss the fact Wacom keep giving less and less, my companion hybrid from before came with a stand too, and my MSP I had to buy one. I wouldn’t put it passed Wacom to charge for the pen separately next time.
@O1OO1O15 жыл бұрын
Why did you say it's okay for photographers, but not for drawing or painting? Photographers are likely going to be post-processing using a pen, doing very similar things that painting or drawing requires.
@aaronrutten5 жыл бұрын
The size of the gestures I use to edit photos are very small compared to the broad ones I use while painting.
@O1OO1O15 жыл бұрын
@@aaronrutten why? I've done both, and I find I use long strokes on both. Why is being able to make long strokes over a long distance better than being able to make the same long stroke with less distance? To me, it's not unlike a gaming mouse: you want the shortest movent possible to accomplish what you want. The only exception to that might be for accuracy. But still, I wonder if a longer stroke over a larger surface improves accuracy.
