Yeah croaker is the way to go right now. My buddy and I have caught over 70 trout over the last 3 weekends in the Galveston area. Croaker bite has been insane. Sucks it is a bit expensive to use them tho.

Yes it is, this thing just won’t break! It locked up on me a couple months ago but I reeled it until it broke loose and now it’s good as new! Best spinning reel for the price!
