@@3rdCoastFishin i have no doubt. I see the very good results there. @@3rdCoastFishin How much do them mullets cost? I'm just curious because I think you still would have caught those flounder even if they didn't have the mullet fillet on the hook of that Gulp Ripple Mullet. It's probably just overkill to do that because gulps have plenty of scent. It would be more interesting if you put the mullet fillet on a plain unscented paddletail / swimbait and see if you can pull a flatty out with that.

The best way to catch flounder is Gulp the only way the New penny in good and the white and the size depends on what time of year it is I would rather fish the channel out of the Galveston yaught Basin and go down to to pier 37 or 21 or the sulfet docks cheater bait isn’t necessary for the Gulp to each his own you always wait at least 10 seconds do not set the hook right away sometimes they don’t have the whole bait in there mouth you will miss a lot if you feel a snag or a thump wait and after you slowly raise up you rod and if it feels like a wet carpet coming off the bottom if it comes up a little then set it back down and you know it’s a flounder then set the hook don’t just set the hook if you are hung up setting the hook can make the hook dig deeper in what ever you are hung in
