Im 77 years old and I remember when Wade made his debut on the country scene. He was a very talented guitarist and he had a sound that was stamped on the era. As I remember, it was early 90s. He has never received the attention and radio play that he should have. He beat cancer in his 40s and is still around today, although you dont hear his songs. Its a shame. Best Wishes Wade. I was just reading, "dreaming out loud" about Hayes' career, and wanted to see his breakout video. I couldn't believe it was filmed at Gruene Hall, the oldest dance hall in Texas! It's not far from where I live and I've seen many fantastic acts up close there...the town itself is a mecca for tubing down the Guadalupe River that runs through town, and it has great places to eat. If you can, get to Gruene and see what Texans are really like, they love their music and are irresistible...
