WADING For GIANT Spawning CRAPPIE‼️ TEXAS CRAPPIE Spawn 2023‼️

In this video, I am wading for giant spawning crappie. The Texas Crappie Spawn of 2023 is heating up in Texas! I am crappie fishing with hand tied jigs from Slab City Jigs, and using my 10' ACC Crappie Stix. I am wading an area of cattails and reeds for crappie in a cove that a creek feeds into, a great area to find spawning crappie! Wading for crappie can be tough, but if you fish enough bank, you will eventually run into some crappie! Another great video! I'm over here in Bossier parish Louisiana and am new to jig fishing. We were taught on live bait I but dont think I'll ever go back to that. Your videos are a great way for people like me to understand the little tricks of the game. Keep up the good work brother!

Live bait is great. But while wading you definitely want to use a jig, more specifically a hair/hand ties jig. You don’t have to re adjust the plastic or change plastics. I definitely recommend a hair jig. Thanks for watching and the support! God bless!

What's your favorite/most fun lure to fish for crappie? I've been throwing a crappie or panfish magnet on a 1/64 - 1/16th with a tiny foam bobber. Having a blast with that on my ultra light but would like to switch up my lure selection. 😅
