I did Wado for several years under two different instructors and never saw any of these or any bunkai. I chalked it up to a $hit mcdojo system and took up kick boxing instead. Then years later I got to meet instructors who actually knew the system and saw what a well rounded fighting style it is. I think back in the 70s and 80s they were giving out BBs to anyone in the South East that had money.

True and it's everyone's right to click on whichever button they like. But it may have helped somebody else out there, so I give some credit to somebody taking the time to put the video together. If I didn't like it, I would not have pressed 'dislike' button simply because I am not single minded and appreciate it just may not have been what I was looking for. I have been a Wado Ryu/Kai practitioner for 48 years and watched several videos on this subject on youtube.. I just found this to be the best one I've seen so far. Single mindedness can be a two sided road Matt.

Very good. I like the fact that they are different from the original 10 kumite kata of Otsuka Sensei.

Hi there, firstly is excellent performance but I haven't seen in wado Kai jka maybe is from European wado kai by tatso suzuki Sensai or wado Ryo anyway thanks for your video

You wont see it in Wadokai nor WIKF since it is not in their curriculum. Kumite kata is from the Renmei.
