I recently started a hardcore world and was tending to my chickens and my little farm when I got ambushed by three baby zombies one night when it had just gotten dark and I was just about to go inside and skip the night. One of them, the leader, wore full enchanted chainmail armor, which was as hilarious as it was terrifying. I only had iron armor, my shield was about to break, and skeletons were spawning in, so I ran inside as fast as I could to hopefully get on the roof and shoot them from there. That of course was a terrible mistake since these fuckers are faster than light and all three of them somehow got inside before I could even think of closing the door. I tried fending them off, then blocking them off, but they miserably murdered me. No idea how WadZee keeps his cool in these situations. I'm already stressed when a few hours or days of progress are on the line, I can't imagine the stress of losing hundreds of hours of gameplay because of one stupid mistake lol.

Actually, the highest chance of finding diamonds is at y=5, but if you mine there you can run into lava lakes.
