this is amazing! i love seeing how you worked with the electronics. i’m thinking about trying your techniques to make an ampwave with working speakers….

Wow, this is 2 hours long. That really shows how long this took to make. And it was worth it. It looks great.

I really enjoyed this! As a SW engineer, this makes me inchy to delve into the electronics and see what cool things I could make. One thing I'd recommend from an armor standpoint, contact cement is a lot more reliable. Additionally, cutting your foam at an angle will make the edges way more smooth. There is a tool called the beval that can make it way easier.

This is so crazy cool!! Would you ever consider a tutorial for a mantled beast? I was wanting to make my sona once I got more comfortable, and was considering using varaform and Eva foam as the main headbase materials!

Not likely but you could def make your own, your beast sounds sick!

I'm so glad you made this! I've been 3D printing b0xcat's protogen head model files over the last few days and I'm about to order some of the other parts, this will be a great resource.

Thanks to your guide, my partner and I were able to get our protogen heads finished (well, finished *enough*) in time to wear to a con, a project i started on a whim i had a month ago. This was one of my main resources for what the logical "next step" was at each stage and saved us a ton of time.
