I cried so much when I first heard the song, I totally relate to that song and I still don't have the closure I needed... I've given so much and lost everything from her all of a sudden and now I just find it difficult to trust people and to befriend them... You did a really good job with this song ♥️

Agh love, it's so good to hear that someone out there relates. Honestly if I had heard this song a year ago when my friendship with her had ended, I definitely would've cried. Took me months to fully get over it and even when I see her, it still hurts sometimes. I could probably talk about the situation all day lol

I am so glad you included the specificity because YOU DONT UNDERSTAND HOW GOOD IT FEELS TO HAVE A SONG *EXACTLY* RELATE TO YOUR SITUATION

Such an honest song and I am so happy to have a behind the song video to refer to about it. Break-ups between BFFs get looked over for romantic break-up all the in songs, movies, books, and tv series but I am more drawn to friendships especially when you still have to be around one another it so painful . LOVE this song thanks everyone for the back story!

This was really nice to watch.Im so much older then you guys and ive lost alot friends, every one living has to go thruu this sooner or later but nobody talks about how it feels. Its like its more "accepted" to talk about loosing a partner.Maybe its because everyone feel we must have done something wrong when a friend dumps us.Thank you for posting this talk

I’m older then u guys n I’ve lost quite a few childhood BFFs ppl I’ve knwn since I was 8 yrs old. The 1st one after she walked out of my life, I was so hurt that I confronted her by meeting up with her boyfriend at his job ( B4 u say anything, it was the only way I was able to actually get to her, bcuz when I would go to her house she wouldn’t open the door by actin like she wasn’t home) n he ended up calling her on speaker, he heard her giving me excuses to Y she’s not connecting with me like anymore n once he heard her he ended up putting her on blast n told her “yvena stop lying bcuz u have absolutely nothing going on thats keepin u frm being a friend to her” She ended up coming to meet us n we tlked a bit n he stood in front of her n apologized to me on her behalf n told me “I hope u guys can pick up frm here n fix what’s broken bcuz I’ve always told her out of all her friends I liked u best bcuz u always kept her out of trouble n advocating for our relationship n if we ever was to get married I want u as maid of honor” walkin away nothing made sense to me that I was more touch by her boyfriends honesty then her flaky excuses that I just went my separate way. More hurtful stuff happened after but my point of the story is the older I got the more immune I got after a friendship ended! I became so keen at closing the door once I felt my sincerity was unmatched!!! Nothing personal but the term ppl R in ur life for a season sank in n I completely understood not to push pass a flawed unwanted friendship, bcuz I alone will B stuck hurting my own heart!!!!
