Thanks again and Happy New Year from Japan 有難う💛。 This was filmed at Osaka-Jo (Castle) Hall with capa. of 16,000. This venue is known for its good acoustics for this kind of huge multi-purpose arena (reverberation time = 1.45 sec. etc.). It is very important to appreciate the beauty of Amy Lee's voice, and Yuko's as well. After this performance, Amy Lee posted a short video in YT about her happy experience in Japan with Wagakki Band including some hilarious scenes. Just so you know, I witnessed this song performed live by Evanescence in a big festival in Japan "Summer Sonic Tokyo 2023" on Aug. 23, last year right before the closing band, BABYMETAL 😍 (Both bands took photos together, smiling)

More fun facts. Amy Lee, Machiya and Suzuhana wrote it together. The song took shape in the studio the day before the Premium Symphonic Night concert and was recorded the following day

If any Japanese person complains about anyone non Japanese adopting Japanese culture, he or she is a fake and pretending Japanese. There are people do that regretfully. We Japanese wear western clothing and creates music with western theory and instruments. Our culture is fusion anyway just like American music with the influences from European classic or folk, African, and other music, then the music all over the world got influences from American music. Did you know Yuko Suzuhana plays piano very well too. Her major at Tokyo College of Music was piano. I think you're right - Her tone is more solid and rich now. I started to see it when she sang "Break In" with Lzzy Hale. It could also indicate that she isn't trying to stretch beyond her preferred range. She sounded great in "My Immortal". No singer sounds good outside their comfortable range. Sarah Brightman sang "Phantom of the Opera" fabulously on stage with Michael Crawford, but when she sang with Antonio Banderas it was awful because they adjusted it for him and she was out of her comfortable range since his was a high range voice. When she sang with Andrea Bocelli, things went more smoothly. Amy Lee never wanted the male portion sang in the song and almost refused the recording deal that required it
