You're spot on. I spent much time in my youth and young adulthood canoeing the rivers of North Ontario with my father and brothers and later solo. So much overwhelming beauty and especially tranquillity. We called it God's Country. God is visible, and He is everywhere. I'm too old for that now; I say to all young men do it now, now, NOW!!! I agree! Women also need to find their Earthly oasis. It could be in their backyard or at the beach or a lake. Women benefit from being with God in the great outdoors. I enjoy visiting gardens. I always feel the Lord's presence in beautiful gardens. I marvel at His good creation. 😊

I’m very blessed that my family owns a hunting ranch here in southwest Texas and I love to get away for a weekend and sit in a blind to meditate, pray, even nap, but all while listening to God’s creation around me so that I may be more open for the Holy Spirit to enter into me

You are right with the young men. When I was a young man I climbed most of the peaks in the Olympic and Cascade mountain ranges in Pacific Northwest. I had great adventures in Arizona hiking the Gand Canyon and all the desert hikes in the Winter. Word of warning let people know where you ingratiate and always bring the 10 essentials.

All the nalogies used here; mosquitoes etc, can also be applied effectivley to demonstrate the battle we must wage to claim our individual places in the kingdom of heaven. We can medidate on these small temporal hurdles while reading the parable of the sower.....some abandon the path to heaven because of "sounds" or "mosquitoes" it somehow feels safer in "Babylon" or "Sodom".

Hey, I just want you to know Father!!! I wish you did not mention only men! 😎😃I have granddaughters in their late teens, early 20s who love to go into the little paradises around the area in which we live. SC USA . They go in the woods they go in the area by water and sometimes they put a hammock between the trees and they lie there and read. Please address this to ALL people, especially all young people. You don’t have to stay in the wilderness forever you just can go out there and enjoy your paradise for a few hours! Please open this up to everybody please please please!❤ By the way, we are by beaches and beautiful southern scenery here and many little paradises exist. I am 77 and I can go sit in one of these places as well and just meditate and enjoy the beauty and love it. It doesn’t have to be a lengthy thing. God’s nature Creation is just so beautiful and refreshing and you can do a tiny steps at a time too! Please share this with every person not just guys. ❤🏝️🌳🙏

Like Fr Mark said, do your homework before doing this. Read about preventing animal and bear attacks, bear spray, proper food storage to keep bears and critters from getting into your camp, how to start and maintain campfires, fire safety, types of equipment needed for camping…. Do little things first, even pitch a tent in your backyard.

After I got it and read the instructions, written by the same man who invented it, I realized that it's not practical for me to use..;) I believe in Canada 🇨🇦 you can still get a single shot shotgun, but like he said in a current video, it will probably just make the bear mad...😊 God bless you!🕊️🐻🙏

She fulfilled the requirements of the commandments of Jesus Christ, and she did so on our behalf, then she died a horrific sacrificial death, burned alive at stake, so that you and I would not have to burn in purgatory. "When a saintly young virgin in the fire screams 'JESUS' the souls from purgatory spring." -- Unknown, but not Fr. John Tetzel, and not Prof. Martin Luther. "I AM [Je suis] a good Christian." -- JoA. Father Mark, God Bless you always! Just wondering, have you tried Murphy's Naturals Mosquito and Tick Repellent (Costco, Target, etc.)? It is plant based!!! 😄 I am not in the wilderness but I do not like not like mosquitos either. (sorry, did not mean to type ant). They say cedar oil repels mosquitos also. Sprinkle cinnamon to get rid of ants. 🦟🐜🚫
