This is very good sound quality, better than I already had. I first heard Peter Schneider in Düsseldorf in 1979 - great Wagner conductor. He took over the "English" Ring at Bayreuth after Solti pulled out in 1984. He also conducted often at the Vienna State Opera. A greatly appreciated conductor by many, especially at Bayreuth.

je suis très gêné par son vibrato. C'est franchement laid et donne à Senta un coté soubrette insupportable. Ecoutez Rysanek pour savoir ce qu'est une Senta.

@@DM-wj8br Jorma Silvasti was a fabulous tenor with a rare and unique timbre. I don’t know what became of him as I believe he is no longer performing. But I could be wrong. He can also be heard in the commercial recording of Jenufa starring Karita Mattila.

The Steuermann shold sing a lyric song. Interesting that at Bayreuth he must try to be a heroic tenor even there... it is not Siegfried :)
