Man versteht schon sehr viel auch bei Wagner, wenn der Sänger/die Sängerin eine gute Artikulation besitzt. Das ist im Falle der Frau Dalayman leider nicht so. In dieser Hinsicht sind heute solche Sängerinnen wie Waltraud Meier oder Evelyn Herlitzius viel geglücktere Beispiele.

Große Stimme, aber man versteht kein Wort - leider ein großes Manko und sehr schade! Da ist mir von den neueren Stimmen eine Jennifer Wilson zum Beispiel lieber - als Amerikanerin hat sie eine sehr gute Verständlichket in der Aussprache!

The orchestra is superb. Unfortunately, what happens to Wagner's music is that great wagnerian singers can hardly be found nowadays. Katarina Dalayman isn't a great wagnerian soprano, unfortunately and that is the weak point of this performance. The same thing happens with Rattle"s Die Walkure, in France, released in DVD and blu ray: superb orchestral playing, poor singing, except from Sieglinde.

ANTONIO SERGIO Cunha Despite not being a good wagnerian soprano she nevertheless have sung all the biggest roles all over the world for quite a long time, but maybe you don't know?
