Wagokoro Izumi kaiseki traditional Japanese cuisine! A 2 Michelin star restaurant in Kyoto, Japan!

It was such a wonderful experience to try the many different flavors and textures and colors of Japanese cuisine! There was so much food and so worth it to experience! We got a small room to ourselves so I had more time with this meal to taste and explain each course we had! This experience didn’t feel rushed like all the other restaurants. They didn’t bring out the next course until we finished each course. I loved the plum wine I got here! Highly recommend! You do need to make a reservation to dine here and also pay in advance. We did pay for drinks at the restaurant.

@@mauren023 yes, there were definitely certain courses that I didn’t enjoy as much but the overall experience was worth a try as it was our first traditional Japanese kaiseki.
