Man I gotta find a way to get these things. When I enrolled in school I was under the impression these came with the student case. All they gave us was shears and combs. Basically said I hope you have 300$ for your own tools. See ya next Tuesday.

What’s the difference between the old cordless senior and the new one, other than the look? Does it still heat up fast?

Lol! The difference is the beige color of the lever and on/off switch. Wahl couldn't come up with anything new, so the only thing they've always been doing is to change the appearance.

So I've been playing around with my Cordless Seniors and the guide blade shifts, no matter how tight I make the screws. I've swapped parts out and the issue of the blade shifting remains. This is not the first pair of Seniors I've seen this happen with. Wahl needs to get on this. **UPDATE** The part known as the Blade Slide is shifting in the grooves - This could be a metal on metal issue, or a less than optimal groove spacing, due to mass production variances..but they need to fix it.

Did you ever reach out to Wahl like they asked in their comment? I'm curious because I noticed the same thing on mine and the two pairs a coworker has. They all shift. I ended up putting the motor in a magic clip housing for better slide and less weight.

Each barber in our shop has had this issue we've put it down to the metal on metal wearing the clipper body out over time 👎an easy fix is to get the plastic body from a old set of magic clips and move all the internals from the seniors over. It doesn't look as cool but fixes the problem.

Not to me I’ve gotten vague lousy service,when the product I brought only 3 months ago already broke I sent it in with a warranty and it’s been 2 weeks haven’t heard anything when I call to ask what’s going on it’s like I’m bothering them so yeah to me your service is lousy

Wahl cheating people out of their money. Selling the same product three separate times so that they can keep it at a high price with no improvements. Love wahl products but no excuse for no improvements especially with all the new cordless clippers that have come out since its release with more battery life and power.

This was a limited edition item in 2018. We had no intention to bring it back but there was such high demand that we re-released it. We have only had two versions.

@@Wahlpro the wahl 1919 is also labeled limited edition also. So your most powerful cordless clipper you make unavailable cause its "limited edition" to release the same product in a metal housing for 40+$ more with the same specs in performance. Unfortuneately you gave people no choice but to buy the more expensive version since the original no longer was being sold. Now you bring it back again same specs after you milked everyone of their money buying the more expensive version so that they have an incentive to buy the cheaper version again? Cmon wahl i know you not going to admit it but that is the only reason you guys did it that way. Smart on you guys part but just a real scam.
