My v1 is on the way. Ordered it literally 24hours before all these videos came out. Now watching all of it to justify my purchase hahahahaha Update: been riding my bolt v1 for 200km so far for the past few days. Im so happy with all the features and IMO the new bolt wasn't worth it with the extra cost for my current use. The key updated features were the navigation and colours which im so good with what the v1 had to offer. Will stick to this one for now. P.s: The training interval features is so damn helpful for indoor training. I may no longer need to subscribe the zwift plan and can just netflix & focus on spinning as the unit will chirp to notify me about the intervals.

To give some perspective, Bolt 1 claims 11 hours but when paired with Radar it barely last 8 hours.

Using Bolt v2 from last couple of days, pathetic release by Wahoo, I am amazed to see so many bugs 1. Wifi doesn't connect to WPA + AES but needs TKIP which is dated and deprecated standard 2. Screen visibility is awful during day time and not bright during evenings 3. Drops connection to my HRM abruptly 4. Navigated is messed up and slow! tooks way longer to load , buttons become unresponsive when navigation is turned on , also showed me incorrect arrows all the time. 5. Top LED's bleed light , look very cheap. My suggestion, do not upgrade just yet , wait until they fix all these issues.

I had a bolt V1 and it paired to my Garmin heart rate , Varia Radar and Garmin speed sensor no problems, also my 4iii power crank arm too

It's slightly different on the BOLT V2 where you'll search for all available sensors and you can then choose which ones to add whereas with the 530 you can choose to search all or a specific type of sensor. You can't rename the sensor on the BOLT V2 itself but can do so via the ELEMNT app.

My first ride - I jumped away as with Favero and now Rally Pedals - the AVG PWR for the workout is low - I know that to fix it in TP you can simply cut a few seconds - but while training the head unit displays a low number - the individual laps seem fine. During import - TR and Strava are always higher (I assume correctly), NP is correct? but the device and app will show that. Is the answer to just not display AVG power workout - do you know why, it is different - the 530 and SRM PC8 numbers aren't low and they also have the exact same delay from the pedals from a stop?

I received the Wahoo Bolt V2 yesterday. Since I had a Bolt V1, I know my stuff and have set everything as I need it. I have installed all the maps of Germany and neighboring countries. Today I did a 2h test ride, using route planning and a TraingsPeak workout. What I noticed immediately that the maps are not displayed correctly although I had my iPhone with me, was in the display the whole trip "LOADING...". I did get the road I was riding on displayed, but nothing of the surrounding area. The training data and sensors (power crank & RPM (Stages) & heart rate Tickr) worked fine. Something I'm surprised about the power consumption, because after 2h was already 21% battery power gone. The also shrunk from 100 to 79%. So a maximum driving time of just under 10h would be possible. Tonight there was a new update to WA20-11596, maybe it helps. Greetings Rouven
