This treadmill is amazing. Especially when you compare it against the price points with Woodway and Technogym. Wahoo customer service has been pretty amazing from my experience with both the KICKR bike and HRM strap. I can’t see that suddenly becoming an issue if there become claims with this product. Can’t wait to get one of these in Canada! 🏊 🚴🏼 🏃 🇨🇦

I built a heart rate controlled speed/incline treadmill from a deceased Proform machine about 10 years ago, and considered building a "run free " version at the time. I have a laser distance sensor now that reads in millimeters, might be a cool thing to try to build. I run on my machine every other day. I need to develop the video feed , was working on that years ago ago, but got distracted... The machine I'm running on now was given to me, and I use a Parallax propeller microcontroller to drive the motor control board. I'm on a low budget, so its right up my alley...

It's very cool. They've been developing this for quite some time so I'm sure there are some IP patents with this kind of feature from Wahoo.

Just hear to throw my hat in for Wahoo. Great company and customer service. Just had an issue with a 3 year old bike trainer and they’ve already got a new one in route. No doubt this is a great product coming from an even better company

Great review on the treadmill. No doubt that this will be a huge game changer in the market IF it can prove it's durability. When you spend $5K, that would be a big deal for the long term use and repair issues.

Innovative yet heavy caution. wahoo has due to market forces decreasing profits resorted to inadequate warranties! A one year warranty is just a giant do not buy sign! Look at their customer complaints there are many many distraught and out of luck owners. I like their products but refused to buy any of them until they change to responsibly have generous and or at least responsible warranties

They should make it so you can ride your bike on it like rollers. Tacx experimentet with this at one point. But wow that would make brick wo a joy.

I rode that Tacx unit - overall a good experience but also enormous and needs some very strong motors to enable the speeds needed.
