It was about 9AM and the winds were picking up. We wanted to depart earlier but could not find a ride from the hotel to the airport!

He Dan...it was pretty early morning and pretty smooth, just a little burbling over and around the mesas. It doesn't take much to disturb these tiny airplanes!

@@MrMorden00 looks like a super fun adventure. I'm looking forward to the day I can take my Sonex out and do something similar ... but that's probably still a couple of years away. 🫤
