this is really nice to watch, i literally grew up on re5, playing it over and over again as a kid, only recently getting serious about speedrunning it. i’ve been finnicking with the speedrun timer, and playing solo, and my first official try (NG+)was probably around 2:20**! definitely not skilled enough with recording/using the timer or anything to actually submit a solo run, but it’s been really fun getting into the nitty gritty of something i’ve likely put hundreds of hours into over multiple consoles. videos like this are really inspiring to know if i really put my mind to it i have the potential to get on the leaderboards with this game!!

I had some experience with Motion Capture and in late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the facial likeness role of Leon for the RE 2 Remake. I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part...Now, many years later, when I see how successful those remakes are I can't believe I wasted such an opportunity. In this business one audition can change your entire life.😐

The one thing that'll always swear me off speedrunning is what i've heard about how once you learn how to speedrun a game you can never happily play it the way you used to ever again. Deliberately sabotaging my ability to casually enjoy my favorite games like that seems like the worst idea ever. That constant wind at my back tempting me to sprint, glitch and skip. Like not being able to savor the flavor of your favorite food anymore after one to many eating contests.

Me and my friend play on console and on standard we are almost under a 2 hour run. We are (if you get rid of all the hacked leaderboard people with less than an hour) top 1000. Hoping to catch up to you and Dante.

I don't under stand how can there be "time saves" if you take too long on previous parts? Also how are y'all doing qtes in coop? When I cooped with a friend it never gave us qtes. Also by your logic I have drawn before so why does my stuff look like shit instead of anime or 100% exactly like what I am suppose to draw ( I had to take art from pre k to high school and a class or 2 in college ) I put the effort and practice but nothing to show for the waste of time practicing.
