I love every single yakuza soundtrack, but for some reason, Yakuza 3 always feels the most “yakuza” to me out of them all. I hope you keep doing more Yakuza 3-style remixes!

It's definitely where the series' modern sound originated: I might be misremembering but I believe there's an interview where either Nagoshi or Yokoyama says that "Clay Doll on the Cradle", the final long battle theme, is so quintessentially Yakuza that they give it to new composers as a reference

Holy crap this is SO GOOD. I love the cool af bassline, the chilled out Rhodes piano riff, the quiet voice recording, it's all simultaneously hyped as fuck and also laid back and groovy. Perfectly captures the feeling of a regular battle - the confidence to overcome a bit of adversity. Also I miss the shredding guitars of Y3, pls more rock battle themes in lad9 rgg 🙏🙏🙏
