He's not productive if he's taking over public land to make his money, then we all couyld set up tents in Hawaii, or like here in San Fransisco where it is now dangerous to be on the streets with the 'unhoused". He needs to take his kid back to Israel for medical treatment. He's an irresponsible father neglecting his son for HIS dream of Hawaii. I hope his kid lives in spite of the dad's neglect.

@@mindright9771 My first priority would be my child's health and wellness. I'm sure he is in debt because of his son's medical costs and I know some people who had gone bankrupt because of this. He can sell what he can/want to sell and put things in storage and move for the time being. His son is entitled to free healthcare in Israel and it has some of the best healthcare innovations in the world. They also have plenty of programs to help poor people. Israel has over 10 hospitals that treat brain cancer, not so in Hawaii. For me, I will put my life on hold to give my child a fighting chance to live. Things are replaceable, my child's life is not.

Yes, I have struggled since covid with my business thank goodness my three children are healthy successful lifeguard fireman and pharmacist. I'm blessed. But this is just so heartbreaking that someone's struggling with a child with this type of cancer cannot catch a break it's unbelievable as a local person to see our community doing this. His justification to build his shack is because the road is private and the woman who owns it gave him permission. Not for long. The city is in the process of doing a quick claim deed to have the road returned to the city. Once it becomes a public ingress/egress again all those vehicles parked illegally on that road will be given the boot 👢. He'd better start looking for another location. It's a fact that people move here thinking that they are going to live some simple beach life, easy peasy. Maybe he thought the weather and sun was good for his son. Then reality hit.
