This looks like an amazing machine. How good is at engraving metal compared to machines like mr carve, xtool and laser pecker? I'm looking for a machine to ideally engrave sterling silver, either polished or unpolished but don't want to spend over £1000 ideally.

Aha, I haven't pulic this video yet, where did u get to see my video? lol... Hmmm this Wainlux K8 is not designed for metal engraving though (or very limited like painted metals), if mostly for sterling silver as you mentioned, I would definitely recommend Mr Carve M1, it has the best result. Laserpecker 4 is also perfect for both metal and normal stuff, but that would exceed the budget :DD

Great video, but no product is this perfect to have not even one negative remark. I’m considering supporting this, but I don’t think 2.5W unit will be suitable for cutting, and the 10W unit seems out of my budget right now.

I referred to one negative side, which is that its in-house developed app still needs some time to refine. However, you can always use Lightburn, which seems to have done a fairly good job. Hmmm, maybe consider that 5W laser??

@@SamiLuo true. I’m more interested in the actual hardware. The App is ok for artistic expression and things like that. App can always be fixed but you couldn’t change hardware that easily.

If you are buying a Wainlux product, please beware that they are terrible at customer care. Most Kickstarter backers like myself regretted backing the product. My advice? Don’t buy this engraver. Lasers are failing after few engraves. Mine came making banging sound at any attempt to home it. Wainlux didn’t respond to any queries. Save yourself headaches; trust me I’m a backer.

DO NOT buy this - mine worked for a few burns / engraving & then just stopped functioning - no after sales support available - so just some paperweights - save up & buy a proper Lazer engraver!

So sorry to hear that the after-sales team isn't even responding. Try leaving your issue on their official Facebook, KZbin, etc. This is outrageous!
