Great video! And I think you described this tool's position in the market beautifully. Not a business level machine, but something for a family to get and learn how a laser cutter works. nobody is mentioning in these reviewing videos, how painful it is to set these up on a mac. it is really a pain in the arSS. I still cant manage to make it work, although I have this machine for two days now.

How much does this machine cost? I’m in the US and i am seeing it around $900.

Where are you seeing it for $900? if you to to their website you can get a 2.5w for $299, a 5w for $329 and a 10w for $399.

DO NOT buy this - my K8 worked for a few burns / engraving & then just stopped functioning - no after sales support available - so just some paperweights - save up & buy a proper Lazer engraver

An update - after a number of email to & fros , Wainlux did send me a new motherboard - you have to take the whole unit apart to swop it over (next revision have it Uber the bottom plate ! 😄) - anyways put it back together & managed to get it working again via USB - managed to connect it via WiFi ONCE, went to calibrate the camera & it went offline again, so far never to come back - will do some more troubleshooting
