@@tritri2862 Heck no, Their group is basically filled with shit teams. Which is NA’s “best?” team Korea’s current worst team and China’s 3rd seed. DFM has a quite good. chance to end up number 1 in their group if they play well. I know people will say T1 ain’t bad. But everyone except Faker sucks on that team. It’s basically if Faker gets behind the team will lose. And shut up NA fans, we already learnt several times than NA ain’t winning worlds. Edit: Since people are fan oying let me tell ya a fact. LCK casters spit this fact as the starting day. Their own region don’t have hope in this team. So stop spitting nosense

Yo that 11 million contract might not be a joke at all. Two years ago its reported that Perkz is one of the most expensive EU imports at a 5 mil contract. As far as numbers are concerned about worlds and its cash prize pool as a metric for how much money is involved. Then its gone up every year since conception. Even now it in it's 11/12 season. Look at car sponsors 2 years ago, every one remember "Honda, play by play", Honda etc etc. Now its much sportier ones, like Mercedes. If you look at viewership and numbers there then League Worlds pulls double that of the superbowl. So you have more viewers, with the SAME advertisers and the players contracts at similar levels to that of a pro-foot ball player. Just maybe 5 years ago you couldn't say this. CRAZY

Too bad worlds prize pool has gone DOWN since 2018. Winner of 2018 IG got $2,418,750 Winner of 2019 FPX got $834,375, which is less than the 2nd place finish in 2018 got Winner of 2020 Damwon got $556,250, even less than FPX. They get more advertisers each year, and many big ones at that, yet prize money shrinks.
