Same here, I'm not the person who just goes for it, I sit and look at pros, coins and what might happen if I do or don't do that. I think twice about stuff before jumping into action. That's why I can relate the most to him. I know people hate him but come on, this was a duel, he panicked and fired! I mean he had his back turned on Hamilton, spinning around he shot. From where did he know Alex pointed at the sky. It's not as if they stood all the time facing and he thought "he's giving up but I'm gonna shoot anyway"....some people are idiots

Burr had no idea Hamilton was going to shoot, nor would pulling the trigger on his pistol would forever change history. If he knew, he wouldn't have shot. I think that's what people don't get. Francisco Ezel But, Szin's captured the pressure from his dead family to continue their legacy and showed how in his point of view, Hamilton took everything. Friends, a Schuyler sister, and Washington. It showed Laurens too, showing how Szin's animatics does incorporate other things that was not shown. Like the rumored could be very true love between Laurens and Hamilton, in their It's Quiet Uptown Animatic, they showed Angie, Hamilton and Eliza's second oldest child who in real life did go crazy after Phillip's death and thought he was still alive. Szin added those layers to their Wait for It animation, and I personally think why it's the best animatic out there for Wait For It.

One thing in Hamilton that doesn’t add up: In Aaron Burr, Sir, Burr says that the reason he graduated so fast was because it was his parents dying wish before they passed. However, Burr parents died when Burr was 2 years. Him and sisters were moved around, so no one could have told him what his parent’s dying wish was. Just thought I’d point it out since I’ve been doing a lot of research on the characters from Hamilton in real life ever since I started the musical. Thanks for reading!

No, Burr isn't just waiting for things to happen on their own. His whole song here is him waiting for the right moment. Burr was always afraid of jumping the gun. For example, with his first wife Theodosia, he didn't go after her until her husband died. He knew it'd be a problem to go after her while she was married to a British officer. He waited for the right moment. Burr has, like, five billion quotes about waiting for the right time. He tries to be a cautious man and takes his time.

I saw a post on Instagram that said the three things that Alexander Hamilton lied about. And one of them is actually not a lie, is when they say most disputes die and no one shoots. This actually true. Most disputes did die and no one was shamed by it or lost their honor because you decided to back out. In fact it was still honorable if you ended the duel because it showed that you were willing to give up your life over an argument. So in actuality Hamilton and Burr could have quit at any time before hand and still would have gone home with their reputations intact, but no. Their egos were just to big and in their eyes it wouldn't have been honorable to them. Literally, NO ONE HAD TO DIE! But they were just too damn dramatic!
