I still say they missed a chance to have him and Gimli be partners. There could have been a counter contest between them where if one had more counters than the other at end phase they would get some kind of bonus.

Totally agree, I feel like if you really wanted to, just rule zero Gimli counter of kills and Legolas counter of kills to make a partner deck with them, I doubt anyone’s gonna be mad about it since the flavor is too good lol

Built this recently, really fun to play. Whip silk works with enemy creatures for repeated removal, enchant other creature than the one you want to kill.
