I was also a long time MTG player before I switched over to Pokemon a little over a year ago. Andrew's videos have definitely helped mento learn the game better. Easily the best videos on KZbin to learn the lines of play.

@@Garyisubercool me and the ol lady play both, we're in the process of opening our own lgs so we learned pokemon to better understand product and who our market is. Andrew's videos have been my main source for knowledge on the game. Not as many resources outside of forums for card interactions as there are for mtg, has been my only hangup

It sadly died off at my local game store until about a year and a half ago. It's gotten better over the years but it definitely isn't covered as much as mtg. Do you play on the app at all?

42:43 Idk if anyone explained this in the twitch chat, but the reason why you auto Acerola'd your active was because you played the card on top of your active Togekiss. For cards that affect Pokemon, if you play a card on top of them, it selects them for the effect (ex. if you use Guzma over a specific Pokemon on the enemy bench, it will auto swap that into the active).

A good togekiss tech is the noibat that discards item cards, just a 1 of slot and use it on an optimal turn to get rid of vs seekers and potions

You could add an Incineroar GX line for the mirror. It would allow for one ohko during the game. 1-0-1 and candy might do it. He hits 310 for a triple after using his ability twice, and easy to set up when you’re searching two cards a turn and playing greens. Then Acerola him out of play.

I am HUMILIATING Togekiss Vmax in expanded. First time I saw it I was like: "Well this is cancer..." Now when I'm one-shotting them I'm like: "You got 2 turns to live. Any last words?" xD It's still a nasty deck though, that WILL completely deny prices for anything that doesn't deal 310+ damage. Still, I love anything that can humiliate Necrozma and ADP. Hate those things. I bet a lot of people that used to play Silent Lab Necrozma has switched to Togekiss Vmax. Good for me. Payback will be a bitch, suckers! Also Togekiss is vulnerable to 1st turn donk decks.

Downvoted because you had the audacity to use Togekiss V. That deck is not fun to play against. I'd be more forgiving if it was used to grind up KO's for the daily challenge, but it's a colorless deck, and there are no colorless challenges.
