As a parent, I would want to see the college stand behind the parents, and do whatever it takes to secure a prosecution. I wouldn't send my child to a school that didn't stand up and fight for the students that lost their lives

I agree. People are saying there could be a civil suit to follow the trial. Stuff happens in life that cannot be erased. Do not remove the house yet. There is a debate on how he entered the house. Why he avoided a part of the house. How he exited it. Again, strange build to begin with.

Looky loos did the same thing to the Ramsey house in Boulder but it didn’t get torn down. That’s insane.

The Ramsey house wasn’t completely destroyed by the FBI and police when they went through. They didn’t tear up all the flooring and spray the house with toxic chemicals looking for clues. They also didn’t rip up the carpet or tear down walls in case there was any spywear in the house. They left the house pretty much untouched. The house wasn’t covered in blood in areas of the walls in the bedrooms and the police then sprayed more chemicals looking for more trace blood. They didn’t rip up the plumbing to check if he washed off anywhere and there’s blood or hair. No. The Ramsey house looks the same as it did when they bought it only it might have been updated over the years.

Following the Sandy Hook tragedy, the school was demolished and a new school was built to decrease the anxiety of students, parents, and staff, but that was an elementary school. The rental house where the college students were murdered doesn't represent the same thing. No student has to return to this house unless they choose to. I support the university's plan to create a memorial on the site, similar to the 911 area, following the trial. This entire case has been cloaked in secrecy and leaves many questions for those interested. Please pray for the families of the victims. May the madness end soon.

Tearing it down before the trial signals to me that the University cares more about a perceived image than justice for the students. What happens to that image if BK walks because the pushed for the house to go down? Will that encourage students to choose it as a safe school to attend?

It is odd to me that they want to tear it down so quickly. I know that both the prosecution and defense are saying that there are floor boards and wall boards missing, plus chemicals have been sprayed in there, but they could lay down temporary floor boards and open the doors to air it out if needed for a jury to walk through. That house is very weirdly built and I think the jury might want a walk through to understand the placement of the rooms and everything.

They should grant the parents' requests to keep the house up until after the trial. (Jurors may want to do a walkthrough to get an idea of how far the bedrooms are,if the stairs creak,if they can hear noises from outside of the house & from downstairs & just to take a tour of the house). They can't experience any of that from pictures ,or models.

I agree 1000 %. Removing the house doesn't change what happened Leave that house alone until the trial is over. It might be hard for some to look at, but its about these 4 innocent people murdered by a demon. The jury must have the ability to see what happened in the house. They also need to see where the house sits and the surroundings. 4 totally innocent people were brutally slaughtered there and justice is demanded . Dressing that demon up infuriates me. I think its a shame that defense attorneys whitewash everything. If that was their family member, theyd see it differently. Imo they use the devastation for thsir gain financially and popularity. Jury needs to see inside, get the feel of how this could happened within the given timeline. They also need to see the outside, natural foliage, paths and how easy or not someone could get onto property and off of property. Where LE footage shows where they believe BK parked as the property is with trees, natural paths not to mention the lighting at night around the streets etc. GRRRR!!

Agreed Chris....the jury needs to see the house...it is not your typical floor plan. To get a better sense of the horrific tragedy that happened there wait until after the trial!!! It's commonsense!! Regardless of the traffic it's imparitive that the house remain until after the trial!!! The entrance points are important at this house and where the property around it is important for them to see. Videos and 3D views and pictures are not the same as being at the scene as part of the jury. The young victims should not get lost in everything that is more important to the university. The victims deserve to have that much respect and compassion from the university. Tearing down the house is not going to erase what happened. But to do so before the trial is a deep injustice to Kaylee,Maddie,Xana and Ethan and their families. I hope the judge does the right thing ....he's wishy washy so i hope he makes the decision that is the right one. I agree if they want to tear down the college house...then tear down the apartment buikding BK lived at in WA and the house he lived at in PA. Praying for justice for the victims and their families.

Yes. I think the house should be kept until after the trial, it might come in useful for the jury to see it, especially when authorities say these killings happened so fast. The house has a story, too. The jury might need to see where it happened spatially, so they can see if that's possible to do in such a short timeframe, imo. Also the acoustics would be of interest. Thank you. I'm not a trained person and when I heard they wanted to tear that house down before the trial I was flabbergasted. I hope they do take the jury there at 4AM and when they do I also hope the windows are back as they were when the murders happened. (The windows are boarded up/over now)

Terrible idea the house is full of evidence, and also for the jury to walk-through for walk-through purpose of observation. This is an awful idea, and it’s very oriented through the university to make the town more presentable for students, but the victims have to have their day in court too. Justice has to be served.
