I do a little bit of custom work on the side, nothing special, .im one of the older collectors (age 50) seeing channels like yours is inspiring me to start up another small profile online again. That inner leg Break you had has happened to me a few times, and it left me choked .....especially when its on a limited figure like your Mondo Cyclops (on my Neca figures and a few 1/6 scale figs it happened to me ) and after a few of these "disasters" I took up a little bit of custom work (especially if a company doesn't compensate you for your loss and you go to buy another and its sold out or it is scalped for sky high prices... ....its such an addictive hobby though Im enjoying the stylized mondo 1/6 Xmen line , im looking forward to seeing them finish the roster

Honestly, this made me happy for Mondo collectors. I'm glad they got better with each release because their first figures were ROUGH, but I'm glad their stuff has come around. YOu shouldn't blame yourself for the figure breaking though. A figure that expensive and that big should NOT just break from rotating the leg. I'm glad Mondo is going to replace it for you, but that to me says the quality is not worth the price.

I mean, I can't help but blame myself, I don't do that much rotating with thing I'm not reviewing. The YT thing makes me feel like I have to to show collectors what can happen and what the figure can do, but yeah short turns on the joints of these more costly figures will definitely be the way I do it in the future.

What other reviewers was I talking crap about? Only one that shows up , but I'm in no way talking crap about I think is Mega Jay Retro, who I follow and love BTW and that's because I was referencing his Mondo He-Man experience. I am a fan of Mondo. I didn't like them much when I first heard of them back when they started with the MOTU stuff, but the stuff they've been coming out with since the trapjaw figure has for the most part pretty dope. It's been known that their service with customers has been amazing and that's one of the reasons that , yes I am a fan. I'm also a fan of NECA as toxic as they are with their customers. Good on Mondo. They can be trusted to care for customers even when they make mistakes. Just like forgiving your daughter, Mondo doesn't focus on blame and just does what's right. Clearly though this was a standard toytuber mistake; pushing a joint way too hard/far to show range. I felt that break before it happened.

I don’t know why they even add articulation if it’s unusable and you risk breaking the figure getting it into any cool pose. At that point just make statues because yes I’m going to want to pose my figure that has articulation for the sole purpose of posing.

They've slowly made some progress towards more articulation, like the double jointed elbows and knees. These guys are heavy though so idk how easy it would be to pose with more range on the thigh joint.

But I ask how they break them and they just say posing it. the constant clicking sound with every joint means the plastic is too tight/brittle. the articulation is also really bad for a 12 inch figure that's not even wearing soft frabric. the mondo figures are garbage for the price.

I feel like mondo should just make these half static statues where only the top half moves and as u said at the beginning most people r leaving these in the standard up and down pose with maybe the arms moved just enough to have a pose. But u know if mondo made them that way they couldn’t charge what they charge for these imo. Not to mention that thigh joint peg looked awfully small for the size of the leg. I do feel like that is mondos fault as it’s a poor design for a figure of this size imo. It’s a great looking statue with a bunch of accessories but that’s really all these r imo. Good on them for making it right as I wouldn’t be surprised if this is a common issue with this figure.

Toy companies need to just like Mondo do whatever it takes like just add in the extra cost of replacement parts (Say add 10-15 Dollers) on every figure should cover the parts needed by everyone. I WOULD ALSO SAY THAT WE HAVE ALL BROKEN A TOY BEFORE, whether it by accident or by trying to repair something and making it worse (Guilty) so don't be too hard on yourself but yeah believe me my BLOOD BOILS when I do stupid stuff like this too.
