Yes, Euclid. :) After discovering them, I had to do the same. I had to go back to the beginning. Though, I did so before TMBTE came out and I'm so happy I did because Euclid was such a gift- an offering, if you will.

the lore is that they worship a deity named sleep. vessel (the singer) interacts with her only when asleep. think of their songs as him waiting to be asleep to see her and worship her and the toxic relationship they have. itll help make alot more sense. the night comes down like heaven means that he gets to his heaven when hes asleep (with sleep lol).

Sundowning is a state of confusion occurring in the late afternoon and lasting into the night. The night comes down like heaven means that when he begins "Sundowning" it feels like heaven because it makes him forget whats hurting him. "And you remember everything Only 'til the sun recedes once again"
