scr signaller here, if the sg does something unrelated to signalling while your signal is at danger it’s probably because you’re either pre-cleared or the signaller knows that the train in front of you will need a while to leave the block (eg. disruption event or a train stopping at stepford east overtaking a depot train)

The first ever DLC I bought was London commuter in train sim world 2 and I was driving from Brighton to Victoria but near Clapham junction there was a red signal and I was stuck there for literally hours. After about 20 minutes of waiting I started to get suspicious and contacted the signaller but he just said “denied, wait for signal to change” so I did, but in the meantime I went to bed and left tsw2 running overnight and checked back in the morning and it was still red. So I can totally relate to this video 👍😂😭
