The thing about about it is we are under a different covenant today and our rest is in Christ. We need to trust in God for our pain that we go through and not trust in the law.

True. Good stuff. Very hard truths. Helpful and gave me hope and to remember to persevere and that God doesn't always have easy smooth sailing lives for xtians AND that He is always with us, sovereign, wants us to trust Him and will always arrive on time to deliver us.

It because he talking out of the old covenant, we are in the new covenant. We are to trust in Christ for our rest because he said put to our trust in him. He is our strenght in the time of trouble. For some reason people want to take things out of the old covenant and compare it to things now days. It is good to learn from it , but we are to rest in Christ and in Christ, not in the old testament. They were under a different law then.

Another Christian fan here mentioned to me, "Just think of this! Jesus never used toilet paper. Our Savior must have really squished when he walked around doing sermons". This bothers me and I guess it's right. And we know that when Jesus was crucified, he didn't have any underpants on. So..... ponder and pray for a while.
