Sometimes waiting is the hardest part, and in today's crisis we have to practice a lot of patience. We're in the season here in Israel of "counting the Omer". God commanded Israel to count the days until Shavot and there's some interesting revelations on why. I didn't know anything about ONE FOR ISRAEL Ministry until I accidentally stumbled on their videos on KZbin about 2 weeks ago. Having watched their videos, I believe One For Israel is an organization that Christ followers worldwide should put on top of their list of "ministries we ought to support prayerfully and financially".

@Strava 89 mmm, I fail to see Israel executing the judgment the law commands against them who fail to keep it, Jerusalem holds and endorses "gay pride" parades and in fact it's accurately described in the book of Revelation as a spiritual "sodom" and "Egypt". I still pray for its peace, as my Lord told us to do.

The FACT is that Israel does not keep the law commanded in the Torah, only a delusional "rabbinic", "traditional" interpretation of it... therefore, YOU ARE under a curse.

Enjoyed the discussion, another main point of the Omer not mentioned is it's relationship to Sabbath. Counting the omer begins in Exodus16 with the instructions about gathering the manna, and instituting Sabbath. This command was before Sinai, but lead our forefathers to Sinai, where we made an oath (a seven, shavou) to God and he to Israel and all her descendants, an oath of marriage. Of course our ancestors broke that marriage oath and Yeshua re-newed the covenant, marriage covenant, so as we count up now 7 Sabbaths, count the omer,bread we do so in anticipation of our betrothal anniversary looking forward to the wedding day to come, resurrection and tabernacles! Would love to discuss more. I've been a shepherd for 30+ years. Shalom
