@@ghostmadlittlemiss the easiest way to teach yourself to mix is by learning to soft yodel with the 5 vowels of the alphabet. go down a scale singing a, e, i, o, u then go up a scale singing it again. then try to switch through going up and down a scale between each vowel.

I said it before, this is the best version of this song I've heard so far, exceptional vocal, a natural heartfelt expression also in the context of the theatre which is where the song was written for. So, I've spent the last few hours watching videos of this song by all the women who've played Jenna over the years. I still like Sara Bareilles' version best, and up until I found this video, my next favorite was Jessie Mueller, who was the first to play Jenna when it opened on Broadway. Now I find it impossible to pick between the two, though Lucie seems to bring a deeper, heavier emotional weight to the performance. It's fascinating ... this is such a powerful, relatable song, and every woman who takes the role ends up doing something not only different but unique in a way that reflects their own lives and experiences along with their individual talents. Such a lovely song.
