I can enjoy all the mince pies from a distance, I’ve never found them in France. Tried cooking my own last year..but it was more a roll..😂 and the ready made pastry was the wrong one…Big clean any time soon then just one tree and a wad of ornaments. Simple..tho I’d love four trees..just hit the Bailey’s and think I’m in Narnia for the day. Great.😊

I'm with you on enjoying the outside decs. I came out of the cinema yesterday and the lights were all shining and there were food stalls. It felt quite magical. I live in Bournemouth btw😊. Njoy your mine pies x

I do the big clean AFTER CHRISTMAS. With the tree up and decorated and the rest of the Christmas stuff, no one notices you haven’t cleaned.🇨🇦

I do a good clean before i put up decorations and then once i've taken them down i do a good clean as well.

@ yeah, the best ones I ever ever had were from a local bakery when I was a kid. My dad always used to pick them up on Christmas Eve. They were substantial pastry deep ones. He used to put them in the oven and then we had them with cream. They were bloody delicious. 🤤
