I shot a test roll through an old 1980s Ricoh compact last year, and my favourite shot was made in a multi storey car park where the light was streaming in from the top storey to the one below. 👍📸

I spent a good chunk of my life as a musician on cruise ships and that job became a way to fuel my interest in travel photography. I have some Galen Rowell videos and I think he said he sought out subjects in light, not just subjects. I vividly remember seeing NBC news when they mentioned his death in 2002. Couldn't believe a nature photographer made national news.

Great topic but your talk was too short! I liked your direction on this one in particular and would have enjoyed a bit deeper dive. Good job as always

Some talks top out and when they're done, I'm done. I strive for brevity. This sums it up: "I'm sorry I wrote you a long letter, I didn't have time to write you a short letter."
