Great outfits. Some attacks seem more showy than effective. Awesome overall.

Judging is so biased. The first competitor (MAC), I believed performed with less mistakes (shaky landings) as compared to the Chinese Wushu competitor. Furthermore, the 3rd competitor of this series best them all and yet the Chinese competitor remains in first place after the completion of three routines. Am I not seeing something that may be more crucial to the scores or is this very biased judging in favor of the Chinese athlete?

Logan Riki pi was thinking the same thing. In most of the wushu competitions I've seen where China competed, they're almost always within the top 3. But of course judges will never admit this.

There is no doubt that China brings good competition, however, some of the judging is biased towards China.

Logan Riki lol that’s because wushu is from china how to let them lose even if they lose they will make them within top 3 no matter what they can’t just throw face like that
@loganriki26254 жыл бұрын
Yes, that was what I was thinking also. Because the 2nd and 3rd competitor's performances bested the Chinese.

Yes, she looks Chinese, however, she doesn't represent the country of China.

I'm wondering, are this girls married? Could they?
This is not classic Changquan. Classic Wu Shu movements of any styles do not jump around or twist your body with fancy nonsense movements. What you are watching here is designed strictly for stage performance. Their goal is to become one of the Olympic competitions in the future. It is NOT martial art, period. They did the same thing to nearly all Wu Shu styles. Too bad that Chinese are destroying Wu Shu by themselves.
Gymnastics, but no martial arts. So sad to see, how chinese wushu lost it roots.

to everyone commenting..this is just warm up before the real deal..it includes a cardio with acrobatic moves the goal here is to show better body conditioning :) not martial fight

You people... call me when the fights are for your life... not money, pride, or anything else. Everyone loves to talk about boxing, mma, kung fu and never seems to realize each sport has styles built around the rules for that sport. When you remove the rules and just fight to survive the real skill comes out and frankly I don't think most fighters have what it takes to face someone who's trained to *kill* not fight. Different moves and holds are used when you want someone dead vs when you just want to win a prize/pride fight. Even the precious MMA fighters are not trained killers and would likely fold before a trained killer simply because of the difference in goals for their fighting styles and abilities. Simple fix: keep your sport in your sport and stop trying to wave your dick around in other people's cheerios.

You can't compare MMA to any other sport or say that it will win or lose in a fight. It's called MIXED martial arts for a reason. In competitions where there are actual rules, you can use any martial art or fighting style as long as it meets them. Also, it doesn't matter what martial art or style you use if the other person is better at fighting than you are.

There are different variations of wushu, different styles. This is the non-combative variant. It's mostly to show the competitor's athleticism.

God I shake my head at you "experts" who obviously know nothing about this type of competition.
