Yes everyone in this position locks his right leg. You prevent escape her opponent and you get her to the more uncomfortable position too and you increase of it choking effect too. Wakana Koga doing it perfectly here.

Agreed. Boukli has some impressive wins, but is inconsistent. It's a pity Japan can't field all 3 of them at the World's.

@@Clyde_Ono At the Olympics it's 1 per country. At the World's you can have 2 competitors in 2 divisions and 1 in the others. The host nations of IJF Grand Slam and Grand Prix events can enter 4 judoka in each division. I think the other countries can put in 2 per division, but I'm not sure.

That choke footage is amazing. Where did you get it from? Very clear and on the neck. The official channel doesn’t have it in their coverage of the finals Do you have the whole match and replay angles like you used? I’d love to see the match and maybe a breakdown; was wondering how she applied it so textbookly

On the official channel, they showed some different angles after the match. I was very surprised she was able to get under her neck. She had control of her right wrist, so that made it easier.

But Koga did it perfectly again and even that opponent did not defence against this attack even she was wait it...
