No matter what it means to Christians in the open world the phrase "The Angels Are Here" is a powerful one. It can give us hope in the face of darkness, and it can remind us of the good that exists in the world. Even if we don't literally believe in angels, the phrase "The Angels Are Here" can still be a powerful metaphor for hope and guidance. It can represent the feeling that you are not alone, that unseen forces are working to help you through difficult times. So, if we ever feel lost or alone, remember that the angels are here. They are here in the kindness of strangers, in the beauty of nature, and in the love of our family and friends. They are here to remind us that we are never truly alone and that we have the power to make a difference in the world. Lord, have mercy. Amen!

Thank you for the reminders, Your Eminence...the ranks of Holy Angels, the writings of St Isaac the Syrian and St. Macarius the Great, "connecting to the words that are chanted," (which I miss a lot because most services that are chanted go by do fast that it's not possible to catch the words and pray them--to offer them to God as a sacrifice of praise, as Abbess Stephania of Boston used to say) If we can't catch the words in the service, as one Russian father said, we pray with our "legs" as in our standing in Church) but not our minds and hearts... It IS important to, as you say, connect to the words that are chanted so that we can offer them to God Who is within us. Oh, that all the chanting was chanted in a way that we could "catch" the words as they go by, and thereby be able to offer them to God! All we can do is our best, and with God's help, try to do better. And glory be to God that at times we are able to "catch" the words in the service and pray them in mind And heart as well. And, thank you for the call--the alarm--to wake up out of our stupor! God grant that I wake up and, with the help of His Holy Saints and Angels, stay awake! Please pray for The Sacred Hermitage of St. Paisius, and me. Mother Anastasia

Most of time priest out to speak saying we are sinners never saying how good we are that we came to church and then say how much better we can be. The apostles were with Christ and barley understood until the Holy Spirit was descended upon them. We can only pray and hope for that thank you

Question: A person advised me once that I should ask the Lord for decernment of spirit's. So I did. I witnessed many things but one frightened me I could not shake. I would go out shopping and feel a energy around people. What was fighting was I saw faces on faces and it was not theirs. I saw it come out of my own child's face as I begged her to stop and sit. I've seen so many things...tall light beings in pairs of 2 tilted forward and could not believe but prayed for a conformation and received one that very hour. I asked the Lord to take it away and forgiveness I asked and things went back the same. I still see the spirit's now and then they make their presence known. It give me comfort and keeps alert. It is a blessing. The question I ask is was it wrong to ask? Is this something that is beneficial? Did I fail my Lord? What have I done? The things I witnessed broke my heart. I cannot tell others or warn it seems... how does one tell a person a demon is attached to them for them to believe or not be stirred? Hard one for me to balance. If one has holy advice, please answer. 💞....🕯

🫢🫢I would be careful. Have you engaged in new age or the occult? Most importantly seek counsel from a Holy priest lest the evil one take advantage of your desire and deceive. Saints often test the spirits including apparitions because Satan can appear as an Angel of light…or even appear as “Our Blessed Mother.” when it’s actually the enemy. Peace unto you 💟💟💟

How come we celebrate the visions of church fathers as true blessings but condemn newage people's visions as demonic? We say newage visions of angels are beings of false light but never question christian fathers accuracy.

becuase they had the true faith and new age christians have nothing. Their faith is devoid of all substance. They reject the Virgin Mary, saints, and holy tradition. So of course what they see is nothing and counts as nothing.

@@pgroove163 Why you assume I haven't read them? How come you decide they are right on this delicate topic and all others are wrong? That is blind faith, friend. There were/are great mystics in islamic tradition and most certainly in various christian root groups dismissed as heretics. Can you with a honest heart, before God, say you have done unbiased and full research? To point at church fathers and their - often very biased - interpretations and stay with that is the opposite of sincerity and scientific honesty. You wouldn't accept such behavior in any other field than where the religious bias will be confirmed. I appreciate and accept your well wishing in Christ. Likewise to you.

@JL-XrtaMayoNoCheese That is exactly that, hearsay. Couldn't be more hearsay. Have you yourself got REAL direct knowledge about these matters? If not, then humble yourself and start honestly and earnestly researching these things and stop cherrypicking a few dark magicians and paint their blackness with broad strokes over the whole topic.
