Guys you are wrong there, Malcom is owned by Ghanaian of India descent. I had a friend who happened to be one of Melcom’ grandson who has never been to India. His parents were born in Ghana also been in India a couple of times but schooled in Ghana.

FYI: The owners of Melcom. "Bhagwan Khubchandani is the son of Ramchand Khubchandani. Ramchand Khubchandani, as an Indian immigrant came to Ghana in 1929, and went from shop assistant to store owner. He later became a retail magnate and the owner of Glamour Stores. Bhagwan Khubchandani who is the subject in this article, followed in his father’s footsteps. He spent many years working for his father’s business in Ghana and also in Japan and Hong Kong. For thirty years, he was Managing Director of Glamour Stores. In 1989, he decided to fork off and set up his own company and group. So he established Melcom Group. This was when and how Melcom came into existence."

I'm sure you guys have figured this out by now as you mentioned but nothing in Ghana is Ghanaian owned. I think the same way you do on it though, if that's the game and Ghanaians aren't playing then I can't hate the people who are. Lebanese, Indians and Chinese people run everything. If Ghanaians actually cared about their money being sent abroad to develop other people's countries, they would do something about it, but since Ghanaians do not care, why should we? Shout out to the Indians for creating something amazing. Next time I am visiting Ghana, I'll definitely visit there.

,,, so this while vid is basically cheerleading the corporate intrusion of Ghana, from US monopolies,,, I'm sure this is going to be great. It always is, which is why Ghana needs to buy gold from it's own goldmines, to exchange for oil to UAE. This must be great, because everything that makes consumers happy, is good. ,,,, pretty sure that mall won't take many customers from the other malls, but at least some oligarchs get happy. Keep up the good blissful assistance to the people of Ghana. No doubt they'll benefit from the benevolent cohort.

Hello friends. I'm in need of some help. I purchased 6 plots in aburi and started to build my home. I'm in the u.s.(Massachusetts). I have a friend who is taking care of all my business. So far so good up until purchasing building materials. Please if you can, how much is a ton of rods? I know they come in different sizes so roughly what will it cost. He quoted 1600 u.s. dollars which I find way to much. Also a bag of sand was quoted as being 20. U.S. dollars. Please, please, help!! With these prices how will I even finish in a timely manner. Luv u guys!! Thank you❤️💛💚

This big box store is probably owned by the Chinese. I looked at a video recently about some investors/business people from China who built a large store like this one in Kenya to sell cheap Chinese products at a MUCH lower costs than the local Kenyan small business owners did. This resulted in the many of the small business owners losing their businesses because their former customers now shopped at the cheaper Chinese big box store. There were street demonstrations from these Kenyan small business owners AND the Kenyan people in general who were concerned about the Chinese influence in their country. The Kenyan politicians heard the people, and they shut down the Chinese-owned big box store! I wonder IF this will happen in Ghana when/if the small business owners are negatively affected? 🤔🤔

I think Ghanaians don’t have that sort of capital do they? We live in a global world though lots of places are owned by other people for example Westfield in London is owned by Australians I believe. It’s a catch 22 you can sit around and not have infrastructure or else you can have other people come in and provide it but manage the terms and conditions so that it benefits the locals that’s probably the best compromise
